Marek Nieduzak
Marek Niedużak is the Poland Director of EIES. Marek’s expertise spans energy policy, financing, and law. He served as CEO of Pekao Investment Banking, the corporate finance advisory arm of Pekao Group, leading the financing of flagship energy projects including Baltic Power, Poland’s most advanced offshore wind development, and Baltic Tower, the country’s major offshore turbine tower manufacturer. Marek served as Undersecretary of State within the Ministry of Economic Development, prior to which he held positions as Head of Business Regulations, Head of Regulatory Risk Assessment, and Deputy Head of Legal departments. Earlier in his career, Niedużak held posts in leading Polish law firms, including Salans D. Oleszczuk Kancelaria Prawnicza Sp.k. (now Dentons) and Sołtysiński, Kawecki & Szlęzak.
Niedużak holds a Doctorate degree and a Master of Law from Jagiellonian University. He holds a master’s degree in law (LL.M.) from the University of Cambridge.
