Sabrina Schulz

Sabrina Schulz is the Germany Director of EIES, where she advances initiatives to promote a secure and clean energy transition. Sabrina is a policy expert with more than 20 years of experience at the intersection of energy, security and finance policy. Following her doctoral research in the field of international security, she started her career as a climate diplomat with the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office. She was also the Founding Director of the Berlin office of think tank E3G Third Generation Environmentalism, served as Head of the Berlin office at KfW, as the Executive Director of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network Germany, and was Co-CEO at a ClimateTech and renewable energy start-up. She is an Associate Fellow with the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP), a Policy Fellow with Dezernat Zukunft, a macrofinance think tank, and she teaches at the Hertie School in Berlin.

She holds a PhD and Master’s Degree in International Politics from the University of Wales at Aberystwyth, as well as an MA in Public Policy and Management from the University of Potsdam.
