Bjorn Carlson
With experience in policy research and programmatic support, Bjorn has worked within civil society organisations across the Atlantic on a variety of subjects related to security and foreign policy. Prior to joining EIES, he interned at International IDEA and the Centre for the Study of Democracy, where he helped deliver research and programmatic support on regional security and geopolitical risk in Europe and the Western Balkans. Bjorn is a Fulbright Program alumnus, having served in Bulgaria.
Bjorn holds a BA in International Studies from Boston College and an MA in Russian, Eurasian, and East European Regional Studies from Columbia University.
