A war game on energy security and resilience

EIES and the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) are pleased to invite you to a closed-door war gaming workshop and roundtable on Europe’s energy systems and supply chains on 19 November in Brussels.

This scenario-based exercise will simulate disruptive events including cyber and hybrid attacks, geopolitical shocks, and technical incidents affecting Europe’s energy systems architecture. The workshop will host a select range of experts from across the energy sector - covering development, utilities, grid and infrastructure - representatives from NATO, the European Commission, permanent representations in Brussels, technology providers, and investors.

The workshop and roundtable, both held under Chatham House rules, will explore escalation dynamics, inter-institutional and cross-border collaboration and communication, as well as decision-making under uncertainty, underscoring the imperative of secure energy infrastructure and supply chains.
