Why Efficiency Matters: Energy Efficiency in Security and Defence Policy

EIES and DENEFF co-hosted a parliamentary breakfast to explore the role of energy efficiency in strengthening energy security. Based on a new policy paper and held under the patronage of Carsten Müller, Member of the German Bundestag, the discussion will bring together representatives from the Bundestag, the Federal Ministry of Defence, academia, and industry to examine how energy efficiency can enhance security and resilience in Germany and across Europe.
